I guess it is kind of like the "Last Rose of Summer". My lavender plants are just about kaput. Such a sweet delicate bit of color. A pleasing scent, known thru the ages to help alleviate headaches, and sleeplessness. The crushed flowers release an aromatic oil.
Soon we will be thinking about snow .....

I love the last flowers--my obedient plant. My lavender was taken over by a dwarf spruce so had to plant some in another location. Hope it blooms next year!
